The last few days it has been pretty cold here in Holland, with temperatures dropping to almost minus 20 degrees Celsius (or minus 4 degrees Fahrenheit) in some regions.
It’s not that it doesn’t freeze in The Netherlands, but these temperatures are not common at all around here.
